Platen heter The Epic.

På vinylutgaven (praktisk om du ønsker autografen, mindre bra da du må reise deg flere ganger for å snu platene) finner du spor 1 fra plate 3 «Re Run Home» Fantastisk BRA!

Det blir ikke dårligere med «Miss Understanding»

Thurston Moore sa det slik:

No matter how you listen to it JAZZ is ostensibly about FREEDOM.

FREEDOM and the MYSTERY surrounding it.

And, like MUSIC, it is an ABSTRACT.

It’s SHAPES, FORMS (SOUNDS!) are DISTINCT and PERSONAL and SENSITIVE to each player’s DESIRE.

And the DESIRE is INFINITE.

FREEDOM is not just another word for nothing left to lose.

We know this from MESSAGES beamed from the space-lantern of his cosmic highness SUN RA! The MESSAGE was clear:

“NOTHING IS.”

Her er hans favoritt free/underground jazz plater:

Noen bra live opptak:

Cecil Taylor pianist og poet

Miles Dewey Davis III behøver vel ingen presentasjon

“Good music is good no matter what kind of music it is.” ― Miles Davis

So..that’s it…and that’s not it. If you’re at all intrigued by this personal primer do yourself a favor and seek some of this shit out and free yr fucking mind and yr ass will surely scream and SHOUT.
